The weather forecast had promised a sunny and relatively warm day. We woke up in gray, wet and a bit chilly day. So we left the North Toledo Bend S.P. for Texas. To visit the Patricia Huffman Smith NASA Museum, which is a few miles away from the S.P.
We discovered quickly that on Sunday most people go to church and everything else is closed, as was the museum too.
The rest of the day we stayed at the S.P. At our side next to the river. Fishing, eating, drinking and sitting at the campfire.
Up until now this is one of the nicest parks we stayed in, in regard to the location in the landscape, the equipment, but above all the location of each side.
